 Robert Lee Frost is one of the best nineteenth-century poets who have brought about a revolution through his masterpieces. 

The American poet was born in the year 1874, 26th March. Robert Frost is known for his mature, complex social studies.

In many of his poems, he has written on nature and the interpretations take the mind of the readers.

Robert Frost Biography

The great poet was born in San Francisco, California. Frost’s father was a teacher and later he worked as an editor. 

Some of the Frostian scholars use to say that his literary carrier gets stared with the influence of his father. 

After the death of the father Frost and his family moved to Lawrence. Then, Robert Frost completed his graduation in English literature from Lawrence college.

After that, he proposed to Elinor Miriam White for marriage and when she completed her graduation they got married. 

In 1895 he got married in Lawrence, Massachusetts. After getting settled with his life partner, he worked at Harvard University for some time. 

But Robert Frost did not spend many years there due to serious illness. He left the job and went to the farm that his grand had given him. 

He took care of the farm for nine years. These all things happened before as an established romantic poet.

In 1912 Robert Frost shifted to Great Britain with his with and family. After coming to England, he published one of the celebrated poem “A Boy’s Will”. 

Robert Frost’s biography was a very popular part and even in the twenty-first century. It is said that he took inspiration from Ezra Pound for writing poetry.

It was the year 1915 when the I World War took place. Robert Frost came back to America at that time. 

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I 

I took the one less traveled by, 

and that has made all the difference."

The days of World war influenced him and even he writes about the situation in his work. Though the work never got very popular at that time. 

In 1924, Robert Frost first own Pulitzer Prizes for his poem. Within these days he further wrote another relevant poem “After Apple-Picking”.

In “After Apple-Picking”, shares his personal experience on the apple tree. So, this piece helped Robert Frost to be a Romantic poet or a poet of Lovely nature. 

His poems are consist of modern touches. “Nothing Gold Can Stay” is the best example of his modern thoughts.

Robert Frost’s Personal life

If we go through his personal life then will see that he was not a happy man from inside. He lost his wife after having six children. 

At the beginning of his journey, he lost his father. Then his wife died due to breast cancer in 1938. 

After the death of the wife, he spent his days alone and also worked well as a writer. He was famous as a contemporary writer. 

It was 1963 when he was died because of getting old. Robert Frost continues writing along with social works.
